The dirt jump area moved away from the beach a bit to avoid the wind. Two moderate sets on the left and 3 sets on the right.

Romuald bibi Noirot 360 tailwhip.
Ryan Nyquist makes everything look so easy: Flip barspin, switch handed 360, truckdriver, 1-hand toboggan 360, nothing, no-footed cancan nothing, double suicide barspin, rocket barspin, one-handed x-up 360, 720, ...
Alex Dropsy had the best looking turndown 360-s of the field. All brakeless and with unlimited style (including a Hawaii shirt).
BlackJack goes big when he has to and when he feels like it. Candybar 360's, tailwhip x-up, and superman jumps.
Adidas rider Stephane Renaud has talent. The former BMX racer is on top of his game when it comes down to dirt jumping. Pedal to pedal tailwhips, flips with variations, 360-s, supermans, combo tricks, ...

STREET

There were so many spectators that you had to show up three hours early to get a seat. 50 entries Runs were done with 4 people on the course at the same time

Ruben Alcantara wallride to 540 out.
Dave Osato double-tailwhip-nosepick on the spine, manual-to-tailwhip (of course), tailwhip-to-sprocket; and it was all effortless. He almost pulled a 360-tailwhip-tailtap over the sub as well.
Jay Miron 360 tailwhip sur le spine, gros transfer to nosewheelie.
John Heaton flip to manual to pedal grind
Romuald bibi Noirot did one of the best tricks of the contest which was a busdriver to abubaca to busdriver to fakie. But that was pulled in prelims.
Benni Korthaus from Munich flipped the spine, footplanted a bank to wall and was just flowing all over the course.
Ryan Nyquist des bus partout, flair en transfer, 720 spine, a super-long rocket wallride, back flip bus et tentative de 360 flip au-dessus de la passerelle.
Sandy Carson is full of style, and he can make a basic trick into something crazy, from a downside-footplant X-up on the wall or wall-tap-to-fakie.

FLAT
Franck Lucas, high speed spinning turbine wheel chair to 360 bar whip to spinning hitchiker to inside side squeak sur le cadre, ...
Bar whip cliffhanger presque rentré pour Armin Batoumeni.
Nose wheelie switch feet to juggler to no foot steam roller to hitchiker, kick flip hitchiker rentré aux qualifs et en finale pour Christophe Dassié.
Cross-footed hang five to crack packer to whiplash to hang five to kick flip to half packer, cross footed switchiker to body varial to half packer to hang five to kick flip to half packer to multiple kick flip circle K, et ça, c'est que le début de l'enchaînement!

VERT

www.bmxonline report: The place had somewhat of a holy touch, because the ramp was highly illuminated and there were about 300 people sitting in front of it as if they were praying. The relaxed atmosphere was even better when Lionel Cardoso announced that the competition was going to be held in a jam format. "Do whatever you want, we have enough time. We don't care!" It was good to see that younger riders had entered the comp.
The French opened, with Romaric Fath pulling no-footed can-cans, double-barspins, and a tailwhip.
Achim Kujawski from Germany did high airs, alley-oops, lookdowns, a barspin-to-X-up, and pulled a tailwhip on his second try.
Renewed old-school styles were dropped by Alex Reinke: 540s, one-footed inverts, and high Griz-Airs.
Next came some British politeness in the form of Zach Shaw; he flows everything. Super-stylish carved alley-oops, six-foot airs to body jars, 540s, and a mind-bending flair, in the sense that he bailed out and his head barely missed the coping. He came back and pulled one later as perfect as can be.
The last jam group was amazing: Stephan Geisler, Eduardo Terreros and Simon Tabron.
Geisler actually rides more flatland than vert, but somehow manages to do can-can lookbacks, top-side no-footed can-cans, decades, and crazy superman-seatgrabs. A superman-tailwhip knocked him out, but he got back up and kept on riding-with a broken hand the size of a basketball!
Everyone is always in a state of fear when they see Eduardo Terreros drop-in, go huge, and then come only centimeters away from deadly hang-ups. Eduardo went ridiculously high, with all kinds of tricks like lookdowns, no-handers, supermans, no-footed-can-cans, and double-barspins. Then came the flair, and a hard-ass crash-to-knockout. The riders were chilled, though, as Eduard seems to do this quite frequently. After five minutes of re-gaining consciousness, he pulled another flair clean.
Simon Tabron made everybody aware of when he dropped in; not only through his riding, but also his bike, which had Skyway Tuff Wheels. Everybody knows Simon has the 900 in his pocket, the question was if the wheels were going to take it. According to eyewitnesses, they did not. But still, Simon deserved to win, with tricks like beautifully stretched can-cans, alley-oop-540s, no-hand-540s, and the second highest airs in town (right behind Eduardo).
