But with back-to-back-to-back wins at the Right Guard Open, the Vans Invitational and the Toyota Challenge, Ryan Guettler sat atop the season-long leader board with one event left on the 2005 Dew Tour. With only Bohan standing in his way, Guettler took second place in Orlando to claim the year-end title and the coveted Dew Cup. Scotty Cranmer's win at the final stop of the 2005 Tour challenged Guettler, but was not enough to unseat him. With 375 points, Guettler claimed his second Dew Cup of the year, becoming the only person in the history of the Dew Tour to do so. The breakout rookie of 2007 pulled the first ever 1080 to be landed in competition. His 1080 won him the PlayStation® Trick of the Week honors in Portland and has now won him the ultimate prize - the 2007 PlayStation® Trick of the Year. At each stop on the 2007 AST Dew Tour, a handful of athletes are nominated for the PlayStation® Trick of the Week. A clip of each rider (pulling their nominated trick) is posted online for one week, fans view and vote for the best. Narrowed down to four tricks, the PlayStation® Trick of the Year is awarded to one Trick of the Week winner, based on viewers votes. Fans viewed and voted and when the polls closed on the final day of the 2007 Tour, it was Spinner that was favored for his incredible 1080. Spinner will now walk away from Orlando $10,000 richer. Spinner was up against top level athletes from all sports, including: Zack Warden - Whip-to-Whip Back at the Panasonic Open, Francisco Zurita - Triple Tailwhip at the Right Guard Open, Cameron White - Barspin Tailwhip Backflip at the Toyota Challenge.
